Chugoku

In the Chugoku region, there are wineries in each prefecture. Along with European grape varieties, a Japanese variety called "Kouko" is attracting attention. It is a crossbreed of yamabu grapes and is characterized by its wild aroma, which is a must-try. In Shikoku, visitors can look forward to touring wineries where they can enjoy not only the flavors but also the scenery, such as those located on islands in the Seto Inland Sea.
